Family Orientation: Summer 2025
Welcome to the Beacon Community!
UMass Boston invites you to join us for a very special orientation program just for you, known as Family Orientation.
Designed to help you support your student as they navigate their UMass Boston experience, this 1-day on-campus orientation experience will take place concurrently with your student's orientation. It will cover important topics including academic success, student engagement, campus resources, and much more. Please note: Family Orientation is for student supporters. Your student will not attend Family Orientation and you will not attend your student’s orientation.
The cost to attend this one day program is $25 per family (for up to 2 guests). Registration Fee is Non-Refundable.
The fee includes:
- Continental Breakfast
- Lunch featuring UMass Boston Dining eats
- Afternoon snacks
- Welcome Bag & Family Calendar
- $15.00 parking validation for one vehicle
To register, please complete the form below. Make sure to verify the date your student is attended their on-campus orientation so you can attend the same day. After completing your registration you will receive a confirmation which includes a link to pay the $25.00 family orientation fee.
Can’t make orientation? No problem. The Beacon Family Hub has a lot of resources and new content will be added throughout the spring semester.
